Identifying Your True Spiritual Warfare Power In Your Most Desperate Place

Have you been there?  The place where you feel like your burdens have weighed down your heart, your mind, your body, and your zeal is burning out.  I call this place, “my wits end”.  In previous times, when I arrived to “my wits end”, I was emotional, with little solutions, and little support.

One such example was when I was a single mom to my son.  Before, I went thru the judicial process to get my son’s dad on child support, I can remember crying over diapers and gas money to get to work.  My wits end was a miserable place.  It was shameful.  I felt isolated, alone, and blocked into a corner without knowing my way out.

Have you been there?

If you have, you can feel the intense pain and pressure that weighs on you so much that it squeezes every tear from your ducts.  You would know what it is like to cry until you gag, to sob until you have lost your volume.  It hurts!  If you have been there, you know what it is like to feel that no one would understand, and that you have no one to call.  If you have, you know what it is like to feel that you have someone dependent on you that you may be letting down (in my situation, it was my newborn baby).

What did you do in that situation?

In the presence of such intense burden, some people have chosen to take their lives.  They feel that the world may be better off without them.  Some people sacrifice their joy, their privacy, their dignity and their reputation.  “The wits end” is where the kingdom of darkness creeps in whispering in your ear, “if you just tried…”, and this place is also where we are desperate enough to give it a shot.

This place is also where you can receive breakthrough because your weakness can be made strong in Christ.  In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul said:

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

When I had reached my wits end, I learned the power of spiritual warfare.  It was thru spiritual warfare that I learned that the perception of being blocked into a corner, was not God’s view.  In His eyes, there is always a way out for me.  In spiritual warfare, I learned my value to God, He did not design me to fail, to roll in problems, or to be overwhelmed without solutions.  He desires for me to prosper in the things that I do, and He desires for me to be on this Earth to complete an assignment that advances the world.  I said biblical affirmations like Psalms 91: 9-16 which says:

“If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
no harm will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;
they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.”

I repeated the name “Jesus”, and rested in the calming peace of His presence, and you can do as I did (I highly suggest it!).  God also has desires for you.  You may have reached your wits end, and you may be hearing those tempting notions to “try this” or try that”, you may be receiving proposals via spiritual mail that are requesting for you to put down your dignity, your destiny, or your reputation for a temporal fix.  Let me tell you, it’s not necessary.  Jesus paid the price for your salvation, and you can be freed from your wits end.  You can do as I did: 1) repeat biblical affirmations, 2)pray, and 3)request intercession from prayer warriors.  You will find in your spiritual walk that the kingdom of darkness will throw stubborn attacks recurrently, and therefore, it is helpful to study spiritual warfare tactics.

In his most recent book, The Ultimate Guide To Spiritual Warfare, Pastor Pedro Okoro walks you thru the process of spiritual warfare; beginning with the premise that Satan wants your soul.  He wants you to inhabit hell eternally with him, and therefore, he uses his expert intelligence (gained from thousands of years of spying on you, your generations, and the world at large) to target your vulnerabilities.  Your “wits end” is the most vulnerable place, and this is the place where the majority of his successes take place.

The Ultimate Guide To Spiritual Warfare provides action steps for you to employ to cancel the contracts that Satan has for access into your life, it enables you to understand your authority, and regain access to your God-ordained destiny.  Taking from years of his study in spiritual warfare, pastoring a church, and hosting annual deliverance conferences, Pastor Pedro provides ALOT of ammunition to people who desire to take back their joy, peace, sanctity, dignity, and destiny.  The kingdom of darkness may be tricky, seducing, and sly, but they are not all-powerful, all-present, or all-knowing as God is.  They have no authority when you apply the name “Jesus”, to your circumstance.

This book helped me alot as I was working thru finalizing details for my upcoming book 12 Undeniable Laws For Sex.  I know you may be asking, “What does spiritual warfare have to do with sex?”, and in response, I would say, “ALOT!”.  Many people miss the enjoyment of the holy ceremony because of satanic contracts created thru sex, and Pastor Pedro’s book provides them with many useful tools to restore their body, minds, and spirits to a sanctified view of sex.  I cited this book for my chapter referencing restoration and taking back the virginity of your soul.  In addition to sex, this book can help to grow spiritually, to break generational curses, to liven, heal, or even initiate sacred marriages, to break scholastic disturbance, and overcome many other satanic obstacles.

As Pastor Pedro says, “let’s fight from victory, not for victory” because Jesus has paid it all!

Hope to see you and partner with you soon!  Blessings!
